How accessible this site is
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA. We do not fully meet it yet; known problems are listed below. The site has not been formally audited or tested by people who use assistive technology day to day.
What we know is wrong
An automated check of every public page and every page of a signed-in account holding a real logbook, in light and dark mode at phone width, on 25 September 2026, found the problem below. A second problem it found, orange buttons and lettering too faint in light mode, was fixed on 14 October 2026 by darkening the orange, and the check was run again:
- The photo confidence dots on a touch screen. The green, amber and red dots beside each photo are told apart by colour alone there. With a mouse or a keyboard, each one opens a speech bubble saying what it means, and a screen reader reads it out; on a touch screen the words are in the key under the (i) in the Photo column.
No image, label, heading, button or landmark problems were found.
What has not been checked
- Every kind of logbook. The signed-in pages were checked with a test account holding a copy of 42 real flights on 20 aircraft, with and without matched photos.
- Anything a machine cannot check, such as whether the reading order makes sense. (Moving through every page with the Tab key was checked: every stop shows where you are.)
- Real assistive technology such as VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS, Dragon or switch devices.
Things that should work
- Dialogs and the phone menu close with Escape; dialogs keep focus inside them.
- Error and success messages under a form are read out by screen readers when they appear.
- The flight list is announced as a table, with each value read with its column name.
- Filters and switches are real form controls and work by keyboard.
- Dark mode, which you can force on or off from your Account page.
- Each photo’s confidence is named in words for screen readers, and in a speech bubble when you hover over it or reach it with the keyboard.
